Abstract

Technology is an important factor in modern education transformations, as it provides multiple opportunities to improve the learning process and broaden students' horizons. In the context of teaching social studies, the use of technology can have a significant impact on enhancing students’ understanding of social concepts and developing critical thinking and analysis skills. Educational technology includes a variety of tools and technologies such as computers, educational software, multimedia, social networks, distance learning, virtual reality, augmented reality, and others. The use of these technologies provides teachers and students with new opportunities to explore social materials more interactively and engagingly, promote active and collaborative learning, and provide life-like learning experiences that promote active interaction and participation.
