Abstract

  The study explored how certain home environmental factors shape the personality of students. The researcher developed a questionnaire to measure the personality traits and home environment of secondary school students. Around eighty one students were found ready to mark the instrument. The data received was analyzed using regressions. It was found by statistical analysis that family relationship is the best determinant of personality followed by parenting style, legal birth (Halali), birth order and socioeconomic status. The researcher made some bold recommendations for public and government in this regard.
