This experimental study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of understanding Surah Ad-Dhuha as a therapy for anxiety in adults living in old houses and to evaluate the differences in anxiety levels between the experimental and control groups. A quasi-experimental design with pre- and post-test measurements and a control group was used, with a sample size of n=36 (experimental group: n=18, control group: n=18), aged 60 to 85 years (M = 67.67, SD = 7.61). Anxiety was assessed using the Geriatric Anxiety Scale (GAS) before and after the intervention. The control group did not receive any intervention, while the experimental group received Surah Ad-Dhuha therapy. Descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, and paired samples t tests were used for data analysis. The results revealed a reduction in anxiety symptoms after the implementation of Surah Ad-Dhuha therapy, with a significant difference between the results before and after the intervention.
