Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has emerged as a defining global crisis of the 21st century, catalyzing substantial shifts in international relations and global governance mechanisms. This paper provides a comprehensive analysis of these shifts, examining the impacts on multilateral cooperation, international security, economic dependencies, and diplomatic engagements. Through a methodical review of the pandemic’s repercussions, this study highlights the intensified geopolitical competition, the reevaluation of global supply chains, and the transformation in global health diplomacy.
