Abstract

Purpose: This review research paper aims to explore the multifaceted landscape of mindfulness in education by examining its benefits and providing insights into effective implementation strategies. Theoretical Framework: Grounded in the principles of mindfulness, this paper draws from educational psychology, cognitive science, and contemplative studies to construct a theoretical framework that elucidates the role of mindfulness in enhancing learning and well-being within educational settings. Design/Methodology/Approach: This comprehensive review employs a systematic approach to gather, analyze, and synthesize a diverse body of literature. The methodology encompasses the examination of empirical studies, educational interventions, and program evaluations to derive meaningful insights. Findings: The findings of this review paper highlight the substantial benefits of mindfulness in education, including improvements in students' attention, emotional regulation, academic performance, and overall well-being.
