Algerian Society's Efforts in Integrating and Rehabilitating People with Disabilities

Abstract

The legislative and legal framework for the care, protection, rehabilitation, and professional and social integration of people with disabilities reflects the state's awareness of its responsibilities towards this important group in society, It also demonstrates its sense of accountability, Since independence, Algeria has been striving to support this group, helping them integrate into society and live with dignity, free from all forms of marginalization and discrimination. These efforts align with the principles of dignity, equality, and equal opportunities in various fields, particularly in education and employment.
