Digital Transformation, Innovation Culture, and Data-Driven Decision-Making as Drivers of Sustainable Organizational Performance: The Mediating Role of Organizational Learning
Main Article Content
Abstract
This study investigates the effects of digital transformation, innovation culture, and data-driven
decision-making capability on sustainable organizational performance. It further examines the
mediating role of organizational learning in explaining how analytics-led and innovation-oriented
practices contribute to long-term organizational sustainability. A quantitative, cross-sectional
design was employed. Data were collected from senior managers, analytics leaders, and
technology professionals working in digitally transformed organizations across the United States
and Canada. Structural equation modeling (SEM) using Smart-PLS 4.0 was applied to test the
proposed framework comprising three independent variables, one mediating variable, and one
dependent variable. The findings demonstrate that digital transformation, innovation culture, and
data-driven decision-making capability have significant positive effects on sustainable organizational performance. Organizational learning partially mediates these relationships,
highlighting the importance of continuous learning and knowledge integration in maximizing the
benefits of digital and analytics initiatives. This study contributes by integrating digital
transformation, innovation culture, and data-driven decision-making within a unified learning-
based framework, offering empirical evidence from analytics-intensive organizations in North
America.
