Abstract

Entrepreneurship plays a fundamental role in economic growth by generating employment, reducing unemployment rates, improving the standard of living, and promoting income distribution. The objective of this study was to analyze scientific literature related to entrepreneurship and economic growth through a critical review. The PRISMA method was followed, using Scopus and Web of Science databases for article search and selection (2018-2023). Among the main findings, factors such as per capita GDP, investments, income, monetary and fiscal policies, capital, sustainability, financing, entrepreneurial activity, transitional economies, poverty, economic growth and development, taxes, and regional economic ecosystems stand out. In conclusion, the mentioned studies demonstrate the significant influence of economic factors on entrepreneurial success and require appropriate attention and understanding.
