Abstract

This study aimed to create a ubiquitous organization model in Thailand Secondary Educational Service Area Offices. The researchers employed a two-phase research procedure including identification factors in creating ubiquitous organization, followed by using Confirmatory Factor Analysis to test whether the factor structure that the researchers identified was supported by the data. A total of seven and 480 directors or deputy directors were participants in the respective phases using purposive sampling. The qualitative results revealed that six factors were identified by the seven participants that affect the creation of a ubiquitous organization, namely digital communication, smart databases, efficient resource management, monitoring and evaluation, sustaining good practices, and resilient organizational structure. The quantitative results of the ubiquitous organization model were found congruent with the empirical data, with x^2 = 74.573, x^2/ df = 1.129, p-value = .2196, df = 66, TLI = .993, CFI = .995, RMSEA = 0.020; SRMR = 0.026.
